What Eloralintide is

Eloralintide (LY3841136) is Eli Lilly's investigational selective amylin receptor agonist, engineered to activate the AMY1 receptor with approximately 12-fold greater potency than the calcitonin receptor. Amylin is a pancreatic satiety hormone co-secreted with insulin; by mimicking its action in appetite-control pathways of the hypothalamus, eloralintide increases feelings of fullness, reduces caloric intake, and slows gastric emptying — the three central pillars of amylin-driven weight regulation.

Unlike earlier amylin analogs, eloralintide's receptor selectivity is intended to preserve efficacy while improving tolerability, particularly reducing the nausea and vomiting commonly seen with non-selective agonists.

Because it is a selective amylin agonist, eloralintide is mechanistically distinct from GLP-1 agonists (semaglutide, tirzepatide) and can be modelled as a complementary — not redundant — component of a metabolic protocol. It should NOT be combined with cagrilintide, which activates the same receptor and would produce competitive binding rather than synergy.

Eloralintide is intended strictly for research use in this app. It is not approved for human therapeutic use outside of a controlled clinical trial.

Storage & handling

LYOPHILIZED (unopened): store at 2-8°C (fridge) or -20°C (freezer) long-term. Protect from light.

AFTER RECONSTITUTION: refrigerate 2-8°C. Do NOT freeze. Discard after 30 days OR if the solution becomes cloudy, discolored, or contains particulates.

What people track

Because individual responses vary so much, the useful thing is your own record: what you logged and when, how much is left in the vial, and how your chosen metrics move over the weeks. Peptide Wizard keeps all of that in one place, alongside a 3D reference vial for Eloralintide.

FAQ

What is Eloralintide?

Selective long-acting amylin receptor agonist (Lilly, LY3841136). Once-weekly subQ. Suppresses appetite, slows gastric emptying, and promotes weight loss with a favorable tolerability profile.

What do people commonly report with Eloralintide?

Commonly reported effects include appetite suppression, prolonged satiety, weight loss (gradual, over weeks), improved glycemic control.

How should Eloralintide be stored?

LYOPHILIZED (unopened): store at 2-8°C (fridge) or -20°C (freezer) long-term. Protect from light.

How do I keep track of Eloralintide in my research log?

Peptide Wizard lets you record each entry, keep a vial ledger so you know what's left, and chart your own metrics over time. It is a logbook and reference only — it does not calculate or recommend doses.
