How this is built

Every figure here comes from a real vial somebody paid for and recorded in the app, divided by the milligrams in that vial. We publish the median rather than the average, so one unusually cheap or expensive vial cannot drag a compound around.

A compound only appears once at least three different people have priced it, and only medians and ranges are ever published — never an individual entry, never who entered it, never where they bought it. Anyone can switch off contributing in the app without losing any features.

How to read it

• Cost per mg is the fair comparison between vial sizes. It is not what a dose costs you — that depends on the amount you use and whether you finish the vial before it expires.
• A wide range means the market disagrees, usually because purity and vial size vary. A narrow range means the price is well established.
• Low sample counts deserve scepticism. The samples column is there so you can judge for yourself rather than trusting a single number.

We don't name vendors and we don't take affiliate money, which is precisely why these numbers are worth reading.
